We travelled to Friendly Beaches Campground in the Freycinet National Park. Our camp site was just metres from the beach :)
We went for a walk along the pristine beach...
And went for a drive to Coles Bay and Bicheno.

The kids started back at school and there were no complaints about their new classroom...
School work was completed by 9am, so off we went for a difficult 11km walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, then down to Wineglass Bay, over to Hazards Beach and finally back to the carpark. The walk took a total of 3hours to complete and we were stuffed at the end, but all agreed that it was worth it.
We went to Richardsons Beach for some lunch, a swim and a kayak ride.
Tassie looks really beautiful! You will have to tell us about the boat trip over. Has it been much colder in Tassie???

ReplyDeleteThe boat trip over was good... we had calm weather - we got a cabin, which slept us comfortably. The kids watched a movie in the cinema, while Rod and I had a few drinks at the bar.
It has been no where near as cold in Tassie as it was in Romsey! LOL

Yes the kids are enjoying their new classroom - work starts at 7am and is finished at 9am (just when all their friends would just be starting). THEN IT'S TIME TO PLAY!!!
